Our popular Game Drive takes place in the late afternoon, when the sun is not so hot. This time of the day there is more opportunity to spot game as the animals come out from their shelters to look for food and water. Our drives are very scenic and you will have plenty of opportunities to take photographs, or watch the game through binoculars.
Abundant wildlife
There are a wide variety of animals that you may see, sometimes from a great distance (giraffes are very distinctive on the horizon!), and sometimes within feet of the vehicle. Endemic mountain Hartmann Zebra in its natural environment (early mountain drive), Burchell Zebra (or plains zebra),
Impala, Blue Wildebeest, Eland (the biggest antilope), the beautiful and seldom Sable antelope, Steenbok, Duiker (seldom), Hippo at Andreas Dam and Jackal.
Rock Dassies you can see around the house. These animals you see on the game drive, the early mountain drive for Hartmann Mountain Zebra or on the Sky unlimited Game Drive with a sundowner and 360 degrees view. There is also a large variety of about 250 different birds depending on the season.
